Fly is our pick puppy from our Roary X Ruari litter. At 8 years old, Kiera earned the right to get her own puppy. She is Kiera's first dog of her own to train. She is a super sweet girl with a beautiful structure. She is both food motivated and toy motivated, but will work for just attention as well. She is always excited to work, no matter what we ask. She loves every person she meets and is an expert level cuddler like her mom and dad. She has amazing style when herding the other dogs and is looking forward to a chance to see livestock without a fence. She is doing great at disc with Kiera and has some great scores already as well as a National Placement in the Junior division. Nothing distracts this girl with her laser focus, except Epic and Encore, her biggest obsessions. She is proving to have all the traits we had hoped for from this cross. She is now competing in flyball and working on improving her passing. She LOVES water and the pool. She is trained in Dock diving and may compete in the future. She will also get some basic obedience and agility training, but will most likely not compete due to time constraints.

Disc
|
Fly loves to play disc. She does prefer to carry the disc back upside down, so we are still working on her not flipping the disc after a catch. She did AMAZING at her first UPDIF and even managed some podium placements in a very competitive Junior division. She is quicker than her mom and loves the game. Kiera doesn't really love disc so we may see what she can do with a few other handlers as well.

Fly hit her first tournaments and did great. We are still working on her drive off the box as she slows down the entire way back, watching the dog racing into her run. We are still rotating through different rewards as she tends to only like a toy more than the team a couple of races.

Dock Dog
|
Fly loves swimming in the pool and has had her first dock diving lessons. Her PB in practice is 22'. She is occasionally jumping over 20, but mostly 17-19' . She is still jumping very flat and won't jump until the toy hits the water. We are hoping to get her to pop more for the toy and get her tracking and trying to get her toy yet before we attempt competition.

Agility
|
Fly has been learning some basic agility to help with her crossover games in disc. We have also done some basic contact training, discriminations, working layers and handling for fun and brain work. She has learned VERY quickly and follows the slightest signal naturally. If Lynette ever gets back into agility competition, she will definitely get a chance to hit the ring.

|
Fly shows some natural style and we hope she will have a chance to show us her herding skills in the future, but we are not currently doing much herding with our dogs.
