Lyric is our puppy back from the Kona X Mike litter. Although we had no interest in breeding to Kona due to her pedigree, she won us over with her trainability, athletic structure, and lovely disposition. She does have some accomplished dogs in herding and agility in her pedigree. It also helps that we have met multiple of her siblings and really liked their personalities and athletic abilities in flyball, fastcat, and agility. Lyric has a beautiful structure and great personality. She looks nothing like her mother and has a stockier, more solid build. She is a power house in everything that she does and always gives 100%. She is quick to learn new skills and enjoys everything we do with her. She loves to play with any toys and is already competing at disc, flyball, trick dog, and fast cat. She is also training in dock dog and agility but may not get to compete due to time constraints. She may also have a chance to try some herding but will not be competing. Lyric is co-owned with Megan.

Flyball
|
Lyric has hit her first three tournaments and is really turning on the speed in high excitement. She started to slow with passing at tournaments, but we are hoping a little experience will get her confidence up so we can slowly tighten up her passes. She is putting in faster times at each tournament so we are still hoping she can be one of our speed dogs. At minimum, she will be a fast and consistent teammate.

Lyric has started agility training. She is a natural jumper and good at directionals. She has started running contact training, but is still not 100% consistent when we add an obstacle in after the contact. Due to time constraints, she may not compete but is still enjoying training and crossover games in UpDog.

Dock Dog
|
Lyric loves the pool and was a breeze to train for jumping off the dock. She is still working on tracking the toy and we are working on consistency. She may get to hit a couple competitions in the future once we can get consistently in the 20s.
