Rookie is our newest up and coming stud at First Harmony Farms. It took us a few years to find a show quality black tri male and he fit the bill. We have loved his father and what he has produced so we were ecstatic to get a son of Knock Out. Rookie is a sweetheart and will hopefully follow in his father's footsteps. Rookie loves to play ball and tug. He always walks around with something in his mouth at all times, whether that be a ball, toy, leash, or stick off of the ground. His favorite thing in the world is frisbee. He would make an amazing frisbee dog. He loves air time, doing flips, and is natural with a disk. He also loves to chase Strider and Magic. He gets along great with all the other dogs. He can be a little reserved around some people when their is a lot of excitement going on, but is usually very social. He wins over everyone he meets with his stunning good looks, smile, and adorable head tilt. Rookie smiles about everything in life, even more than our other aussies. Rookie managed his Conformation Ch at 1 year old. He was jumping off the dock at 8 months old but still needs a lot of confidence building to get him jumping up and out rather than straight down. He loves swimming with the other dogs and can be hard to get out of the pool. Thank you to Red Rock kennels for giving us a shot with this little man. Rookie has sired his first litters and he definitely seems to be outproducing himself. We can't wait to see how they will do in the competition world. His line continues on here in Willy, Bella, Noel, Martial, Chasyn, Dugan, Kit, Oopsie, and Cocoa.

Conformation
|
Rookie has excellent structure and is doing well in the Conformation ring. He does not always show himself well, but when he does show well, he tends to win big.

Rookie LOVES to play Frisbee. He loves all toys and tugs, but Frisbee is definitely his favorite. He can be inconsistent with his scores, but when Duff isn't around he focuses in and can do great. He will catch every decent roller and very rarely misses. He will catch throws that float some, but can't quite get the low fast ones.

Dock Dog

Rookie LOVES the water and swimming. Unfortunately, he measures at 16" so he has to compete with the big dogs. For that reason alone he hasn't competed. His largest jump in practice was about 16' and was more consistently in the 10-15' range.

Rookie has started his foundation training and may trial in the future. He loves tunnels and contacts.
