Secret is from the Love X Magic litter. Secret was the highest drive puppy in her litter with an amazing recall, amazing tug drive, and great human focus. She has Magic's toy drive but a soft enough mouth that she doesn't destroy things like many aussies. She can even carry baby chicks and wildlife around in her mouth without killing them, much like our setters. She does believe that all button style eyes from stuffed animals should be removed though. Her favorite toys are her squeaky squirrel and the bounciest ball she can find, which is why my racquetballs keep disappearing. She likes disc, but needs bite work before rounds for a good grip to hold air catches on landing. Unfortunately, she inherited Magic's bark. She is quiet as a mouse until excited and then she barks nonstop. We were able to train quiet for all things but playing ball and disc. She managed to get the super thick coat of her mother. She is quick to learn and loves to be around her people. She has Magic's aussie bounce and a ton of aussie wiggle butt. Secret lives for car rides and loves any drive-short or long. Secret will compete in sports and has already started competing in disc and agility with junior handlers. She always prefers Lynette, but will play with any kid if Lynette is not near by, making her a favorite of the novice junior handlers we work with to practice skills. She is being trialed by a variety of junior handlers in disc and agility since she is willing to work for almost anyone that sweet talks her. Her line will continue with Rubiks and Fire.

Secret loves to play disc. Her favorite part is tugging on it, which definitely decreases her scores as she can be hard to get a consistent off. She prefers the soft discs, but we are trying to get her on Hero's. She hit her first trial at 4 months old and got her first few points. She even played some rounds for Bite club that week. She loves to play for Lynette, but will play occasionally for the kids. Being a socialite and visiting judges (especially if Lynette is around) are a bit of a problem, but she is still working on focus with the kids. Now that she is a year old, she just started doing catches, which she definitely prefers. She only visits occasionally but may hit an occasional trial when she is here.

Secret has hit her first fast cat competition. She was speeding up with each run as she got the hang of it. She really thinks it is a long recall, especially since she got in front of the bag the first few runs. She was finally chasing the bag at the end of her 4th run and hasn't had a chance to try it again. She even managed to get ranked in the top 200 for her breed and get her BCAT in just 4 runs. We may hit more competitions with her in the future.

Secret has had her first agility lesson and is LOVING this sport. She picked up running contacts in a couple lessons and has a natural stride at full run that hits the contacts. She picked up 6 weaves in a week with a variety of entrances. She is still perfecting her switch and discriminations (contacts always win). She has since been training with a junior handler and hit her first speedway classes as well. Agility isn't her main focus, but she has had a ton of fun training it!
