These are the adult dogs available for homes. Some of these dogs are ones that were born here and others are ones that may just be passing through. We try to focus on our breeds, but have rescued a huge variety of breeds over the years due to different reasons. We do not always have adults available, but do commonly know of adults available other than the ones we take in. We only take on an occasional adult and are very selective about which ones we take. Miniature American Shepherd Secret http://www.firstharmonyfarms.com/secret.html DOB 11/21/20 Secret is available to a Co-own home only. Would love a local home (within a couple of hours) that is interested in continuing her training and competing or let us compete with her. She would be fine as an only dog but would love a sibling. We do hope to breed her in the future. She is amazing in the house, but will occasionally chew something, specifically removes eyes from stuffed animals. Secret is great with kids and other dogs, but has not been around cats. She has started training for flyball, disc, dock diving, and trick. She hit her first few disc competitions as a puppy doing rollers. She loves to play tug.
Miniature American Shepherd Angel DOB 1/25/21 Angel is available as a co-own or for sale with a puppy back. Angel LOVES people and is very sweet. She can be a bit much for more submissive dogs and likes to play hard. Out of the 25 dogs she has been with, one would not play with her and was scared of her. She is not great with cats and the cat was too scared of her to live in that home. She is doing amazing on house manners, potty training, and kennel training. She has a great recall and started on sport training-disc, flyball, and dock.
Miniature American Shepherd Solo http://www.firstharmonyfarms.com/solo.html DOB 10/18/16 Considering placing Solo in a co-own home. He is a beautiful boy with a sweet personality. He tends to get picked on by some other dogs, so he would prefer to be in a house alone, with his brother (Soldier), or a mild tempered sibling. His getting picked on is the only reason we would consider an outside home for him. He is still being used at stud, but not showing Conformation any more, since he has already finished his Championship. He loves to play fetch and would possibly do well playing at sports. Has been around todlers, but not sure how he would do with lots of kids since he has not had that exposure. Does great with cats. He does have a great recall, but must have a fenced in yard to help with the transition to a new home.
