Epic is our pick puppy from the Dorothy X Strider litter. Strider has always been the perfect dog for our son, Tyler. So when it was Tyler's turn to pick his first puppy, he wanted a mini Strider for himself. We agreed to breed him once for Tyler's puppy and Dorothy fit all of our requirements for a mate. Tyler is learning how to train and handle his own dog with Epic. We had never planned to keep a smooth coat, but Epic reminded us so much of her father in other ways that she eventually won us over. Epic loves to play tug and ball. She is obsessed with chasing the hose and playing in the baby pool. She was a natural for dock diving and fears nothing. She is a natural at disc like her sire and will play ball all day. She has amazing athletic ability and would love to do Parkour full time. She is always a show off bouncing off the wall and ceiling doing her backflips. She has amazing herding drive like Strider as well and is looking forward to showing it off some day. She was a very crazy pup, but by a year old her gentle side came out. She is a perfect babysitter for kids, todlers, and even the tiniest of puppies. She is currently competing in disc and dock and training for flyball, agility, trick, and parkour.

Disc
|
Epic started playing UpDog with Tyler before she was a year old. She is quick and great at catching every roller or throw. She is still perfecting bringing the disc back consistently. She has perfected drop it at a distance, but thinks that is the best part of the game and hates bringing it back. Time Warp is her favorite game. She lives for huffing paint and rolling in it, giving us a ton of fun painted Epic pictures.

Trick Dog
|
Epic has started some trick dog training. She is quick to learn and is both toy and food motivated. She prefers tricks that involve playing with a toy when possible. She finished her first trick dog title before her first birthday and was just short of the next 3 titles.

Epic has started her agility training with Tyler. She loves tunnels and is working 2 on 2 off. Tyler has a lot to learn in agility so they are learning together. They hope to compete if we can find a free weekend in 2020.
