I get a ton of stud inquiries, which I appreciate, but can be time consuming to respond to. I am hoping that this will help people narrow down your choices some so we can focus our conversations more.
Not all studs reproduce themselves, some outproduce themselves and some just don't throw what we had hoped for. Here is what we have seen with this stud dog.
I bought Ru as an adult, so I can only speak of the litters here in the states. Although I have met some from before I bought him. So far he has produced a variety of pups. Most pups are drivey, very mentally stable, non reactive, versatile pups. His pups are excelling at herding and a variety of sports. I adore his pups that we have kept back. Most are very healthy so far, although there is one case of OCD from an outside litter. There is also a fairly soft dog from that cross. I own a few softer girls and I feel like he built them up nicely. I only know of one pup that did not thrive in its original home, but has done amazing when rehomed-both with the family and in sports. The other owners that have purchased his pups seem very happy with them. He produces very strong pups that love to work and always give 100%. Last I heard he has over 100 pups, closing in on 200 now. I will say the structure can vary pending the dam. I have a few smaller, petite girls like yours and you can expect the same from the pups, although some will be thicker like him. I also crossed him with some of my larger girls and the pups were much more variable. I feel like he added quite a bit to my program and have been very happy with him, specifically a bit more stamina, versatility, angulation, eye, style, and coat
