Doc was our pick puppy back from the Jade X Leo cross. I really wanted a small black male from this cross, but Doc stood out from the beginning in looks and personality. He is the sweetest boy ever with a very gentle demeanor. He loves every person he meets and can get even the grouchiest dog to play with him. He spends all day wrestling with the dogs, making everyone laugh at his antics. Once they are done wrestling with him, he moves on to the next dog and pesters them to play. Doc is both food and toy motivated but not over the top. He is a bouncy boy at home and is getting more confidence with traveling. He will start playing competitive Disc, Fast Cat, and Conformation this year and possibly have a chance at other sports. Doc will sire a few litters here at First Harmony Farms and at Sonnenhugel Farms.

Agility
|
Doc has had his first agility lesson and is working on his stay, jumps, and switch. He has good focus and did great with distractions. We have only had jumps to 12" but he has a nice jumping style. He is pretty velcro at this time so we will start adding in some distance in the future.

Conformation
|
Doc is a stunning boy and we are hoping that he will hit the UKC Conformation ring in the future and possibly AKC if he does well. His tail is commonly faulted in AKC so he will start in UKC where it will not be faulted.

Disc
|
Doc loves playing disc and is perfecting catching throws and rollers. He still gets under them a lot and is learning to hand it off rather than dropping it 10 feet from the thrower.

Doc has learned his first few skills for Rally. He loves all positive reinforcement, his favorite is happy excited baby talk. I tend to use this a lot when we start training so he is loving this stuff so far.

Dog will be an amazing therapy dog. He loves all people, especially young children, and is naturally very gentle. He is starting to train for new situations and places.

Doc is learning lots of new tricks. He can sit, down, wait, shake, walk on a loose leash, retrieve, jump, and tunnel. He is perfecting his competition heel, automatic sit, wave, and stay.
