Here in Tiskilwa, Illnois, we breed for temperament first. We try to breed to well mannered moms and dads to produce naturally social hogs that react well to human handling. We are also breeding for a variety of colors that are of show quality. All hedgehogs come with a starter kit. Our starter kit includes a Hedgehog Care book, Small fleece, toy, and a small supply of food.
Our Hedgehogs are predominately of the Algerian line with generally nice masks and cheek patches.

The Boys
Bear
Bear came to us from Hawkeye Hedgies. He is a gorgeous guy that throws amazingly dark faces on his babies. He is one of the largest here at FHF. He is a mellow guy that will swim and play but also spends a lot of time just lazing on the beach.
Bishop
Bishop is our newest baby. Although we bred to his sire to keep a light colored male, Bishop demanded to be kept. Starting at three weeks old he would come out and climb in your hand to be picked up. He follows your hand around the cage begging to be picked up. His short face and badger stripes were too cute to let go so he will stay here to sire gorgeous babies for us.
Bully
Bully was just a baby that I couldn't give up no matter how many people begged. He has one black eye and is a LOVER. He is just naturally a friendly guy, even as a tiny baby he did not even try to ball up. His eye patch is fading with age, but the name still seemed fitting.
Ceasar
Ceasar is the sweetest male at FHF. Ceasar has never met a stranger. He didn't even bother to put up his quills for his microchip which is painful. He is a smaller male and fairly active. Ceasar has thrown some of the sweetest babies here at FHF. Ceasar has even sired a few hogs that are doing great at the shows. Thanks to Dreamflower Meadows for this great guy.
Cola
Cola was too sweet to not keep. He has mismatched eyes and is perfect for light line. He is a character and loves to play with toys. He is commonly running on his wheel with a toy in his mouth.
Dodge
Dodge is one of our new Boys from Hog Heaven Hedgehogs. He is a small, sweet boy. Dodge is very playful. He loves to swim and run on his wheel. He will even sleep on his wheel at times and has even been seen sleeping on his back on his wheel and sprawled out with his krinkle ball beside him.
Drum
Dumbo
Dumbo was purchased from Hedgehog Grove in Canada. He was purchased for his pedigree and great personality. He was named immediately when we met in person and saw his huge dumbo ears. He is a very sweet boy that will hopefully sire many babies here at First Harmony Farms.
Ford
Ford is a mellow guy. He is one of those rare hogs that loves to come to the front of the cage and have his nose scratched. Ford is active on his wheel but will still sit and cuddle when held. He had a black face as a baby, but it has lightened with age. We are hoping he will sire some beautiful light babies while he is here.
Guy
Guy is a very petite boy we purchased from Hog Heaven Hedgehogs. He has a great personality and is quite a character. He loves to swim and LOVES his toys. He is commonly carrying a toy around and even sleeps with his toys.
Grizzly
Grizz is a sweet boy out of my last Panda litter. He reminded us the most of Panda , who was always a favorite here, so he had to stay. He is a very playful boy that talks while he swims. He loves his wheel and even sleeps on it sometimes.
Hawk
Hunter
Hunter is from Hog Heaven Hedgehogs in New York. He is a big boy and fairly mellow. He seems to stay on the heavier side and although active, he is no where near as hyper as the others.
Kellogg
Kellogg came from Beach Bum Hedgehogs. He is a nice dark guy. Kellogg loves his crinkle balls and any toy that makes noise. He is not a hyper hedgehog, but does like to play some. Kellogg likes to swim but will also just float around.
Keurig
Malibu
Malibu was purchased from Hedgehog Grove in Canada. Although older when we bought him, I am hoping he will still have many years here at First Harmony Farms to pass on his great traits.
Mayhem
Mayhem is a gorgeous split face silver from Victorino's Hedgehog Garden. He is super sweet and a fairly mellow boy. He enjoys wheeling, swimming, and playing with toys but is not extremely hyper when being held.
Noble
Peanut
Peanut was purchased from Hedgehog Grove in Canada. He was purchased for his pedigree and great personality. He was named immediately when we met in person and saw his huge dumbo ears. He is a very sweet boy that will hopefully sire many babies here at First Harmony Farms.
Pepsi
Pepsi is a gorgeous hog from Victorino's Hedgehog Garden. He is not a pinto but is a solid brown with a white face and mismatched eyes. He has a very short face and looks like a baby, even as an adult. He is a sweet guy and loves to cuddle. He is a moderate energy boy who likes swimming, wheeling, and playing with toys.
Phantom
Phantom is a small, dark boy that is supersweet. He never even raises his quills and is a perfect hog to handle. Even our 2 year old can handle him comfortably. Everyone who meets him, loves him. He has a short face that makes him still look like a baby. He is a dark guy and had a solid black stomach and legs as a baby. His mottling on the back legs still goes all the way up to the quill line and his stomach still has large dark patches. He is a gorgeous split face boy and we hope he will throw as gorgeous of babies as his sire.
Ratchet
Ratchet is a dark male from Hedge Quill Hogs. He is a small, sweet guy that is very active. He loves to play with toys and on his wheel. He does swim some, but also spends a lot of time on the beach relaxing. He also believes that he can hitch a ride on other hogs backs when swimming and has to swim alone.

Swagger
Swagger is a gorgeous black boy from Beach Bum Hedgehogs. He is turning into a sweet and mellow boy. He seems to prefer lazing than swimming unless he is with other hogs then he follows them around the tub. He seems to like his toys but does not carry them around as much as the others. Swag insists that he can sleep in his food dish, despite being a big boy now and falling over the edges. We are hoping he will throw us some gorgeous dark baby's in the next few years.

Teegan is everything we could want from his mother. He has flashy markings and an extremely outgoing personality. He is one of those rare hogs that greets you at the front of the cage and wants picked up. He is owned by a 6 year old but will also sire some litters here at First Harmony Farms.

This dark grey girl is very easy going. She is on the mellow side and keeps on weight easily. She will startle and snuffle/pop when scared, especially by big dogs but otherwise rarely says a word. She warms up to people easily and does great away from home. She likes to swim and play with toys. Benny is one of the best producers at First Harmony Farms, producing a litter of 7 her first time and following that with a litter of 5. She is a very sweet mom and her babies all have her personality. Benny is one of the largest hogs at FHF

Bijou is a super sweet girl. She reminds me of her mom, Kodi, a great deal. She was her mom's little shadow and was too cute to not keep. She has turned into a great mother, throwing super sweet babies.
Black Beauty
Beauty had the darkest belly we had ever seen as a baby. Her stomach and legs were solid black and the color over the shoulders went all way to her quill line. She also has a short, adorable face and sweet personality. She comes from pinto lines, but decided to snowflake as she got older so she is now a part of our snowflake lines. Beauty is a very calm girl.
Bliss
Bliss is a very serene hog. She is very calm for a hedgie. She will play but usually seems to just check things out and move on. Not much phases this girl.
Busy
Busy is a very sweet pinto. She has some of the loudest marking we have ever seen here. She is easily distinguishable from the other hogs. Busy is a very active girl and rarely sits still. She never bothers to quill but can be hard to hold when on the move. She loves her toys and commonly runs on her wheel with a toy in her mouth. She is a very small hog. She is also a top producer here at FHF. She produces large litters that all have her active personality.
Canon
Canon is a naturally sweet girl that we decided to keep as a part of our herd. She was named Canon due to her obsession with coming straight up to the lens of our Canon camera to lick at it, making it very difficult to get any good pictures of her.

Dharma is a very sweet and curious girl. Not much scares this girl. Many hogs will bring their visor down when they hear or see that camera flash. She was more the type to come and start nibbling on it to investigate it. She is on the smaller side. Dharma is a great mom, raising every litter. Her babies are sweet since she is so willing to show them off.
Dixie
Dixie was kept on as a breeder due to her stunning color and amazing personality. She is very lid back. When loose she likes to run around and will spend a great deal of time playing with a Dixie cup. She also believes that hedgehogs should not be scared of heights and will divebomb off of any counter or couch. She is quite a brave and curious hedgie.

She is always the first to eat and will push others off the wheel if she wants it. She also likes to steal toys and generally pester the other hedgehogs.

When she did get loose in our house as a baby, we just sat on the floor and out she came to get some attention. She was just way too cute to sell so she stayed on as a breeder. Nike has been proving herself as a great mother. She will even allow people to come and handle the newborns without so much as a snuffle. She just lays on her side feeding the babes as you take one out to show people. She is also passing her perfect personality on to her offspring.

She not only swims on the top of the water but likes swimming under water as well. She is truly a fish when in the tub, which is how she got her name.

Vision is a mellow girl. She is not overly active and is prone to being heavy. She is very OCD about her environment. When things are moved out of place she immediately puts them back. If you move her towel she moves it back immediately. It is fun to move her things and listen to her talk while she moves it all back into place. She can take a minute to warm up completely to new things. She never balls up but keeps her quills partially up. Although very talkative (squeeking) when rearranging her bedding, she never seems to snuffle or pop. She has a very thick, beautiful set of quills.
